You know, I think I enjoyed this harry potter film more than any of its predecessor's. Well, perhaps with the exception of "The Prisoner of Azkapan".
Now, I have to be honest... I was hesitant about this movie for two reasons. The first being that I was concerned that the whole time I would be sitting there watching never ending battle sequences that never seemed to end. The second and definatley more serious reason was that ,seeing as how it was the last one that would ever be made, what if the film had just been a complete failure and killed my entire opinion of harry potter? I mean it definatley needed to have a strong ending right?
Now all of this considered, I was incredibly pleased with what I saw. The movie was excellent! Absolutely fantastic! It essentially brought everything to a satisfying conclusion and for the first time in I don't know how many movies, there wasnt a depressing gray lighting filter. At the end, despite some of the more sad moments and the fact that I knew I would probably never sit in front of the big screen to watch harry potter again, I honestly had a kind of happy feeling in my stomach.
You know. I also kind of slightly resent the fact that I had not been ten when the first movie came out. I would have loved to audition for this and would have loved even more to have been a part of it. hahaha... yeah.... fat chance I know... This really has been the series that has defined my childhood.
Well anyway, I truly found this movie to be spectacular and if you havn't all ready, (Which I highly doubt) go to your nearest movie theatre and do so immediatley! You will not regret it.
And now... Alas, I suppose I shall have to find a new passion in life but honestly, what else is there?
Any good books that can come even close to matching the ingenious, brilliant mind of J.K Rowling? I mean any at all?
Good bye Harry Potter. Good bye Childhood.
